When you submit a discovery or contact Discover the Journey, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact information, story, photographs, files, and preferences about attribution. Submission forms may be provided through Tally and are also subject to that service's privacy practices.

We use submitted information to review material, communicate with contributors, research or clarify a story, make editorial decisions, publish accepted material with appropriate permission, and operate or improve Discover the Journey.

Nothing submitted through our website is published automatically. We do not provide public website accounts or direct posting access. Selected material is published only by Discover the Journey.

We may limit or remove personal details when privacy or safety warrants it. We do not intentionally publish sensitive personal information simply because it was included in a submission.

Our hosting, form, analytics, social-media, or other service providers may process limited technical information necessary to operate their services. Their own policies govern their handling of that data.
